Meet Our Team
Surprize!!! No one here is named Potter. Rather the founder was once a potter many moons ago. He loved it from his childhood and remained active professionally from his early teens till mid 20's. Pottery proving to be a love, but not much of a livelihood, Aaron chose to follow his wife Audrey's advice "to get a real job with benefits". And so Aaron left the creative world and joined corporate America but had always longed to get back to his creative self full time.
While Aaron's day to day became a stable career to support his family, the void of creativity was ever present. Aaron's father was a custom home builder who taught him the building trades in his younger years which he put to good use. As newlyweds, Aaron and Audrey opted for a cute fixer upper for their first home. Aaron's knowledge and craftsmanship he learned from his father filled the creative void he so longed. It also proved to be profitable so they did it again and again. Eventually, Aaron became certified as a Class A Contractor in the State of Virginia in 2006 and has been contracting both commercial and residential projects ever since. Aaron and Audrey moved to Idaho and he obtained his Idaho Contractor's license in 2017.
Aaron created Potter's Construction, not to just build a box quickly for profit, rather to find clients who demand quality, appreciate the subtle details so commonly found in old world architecture and to partner with a clients who's working relationship feels more like a friend.
"My goal is to turn my clients' dream home into a reality, giving them something other than just square walls and stainless steel appliances. Rather, their own unique piece of real estate that everyone who passes by adores."
